报告内容摘要:
In this seminar, I will talk about the rational design of plasmonic nanostructures and the fabrication of assay platform towards non-invasive cancer molecular subtyping, with the aim of point-of-care diagnostics and personalized medicine. Microfluidics and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) will be highlighted.
报告人简介:
Yuling is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences and associated investigator of ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale Biophotonics in Macquarie University (Sydney), Australia.Yuling obtained her PhD degree in 2009 from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Erkang Wang and Prof. Shaojun Dong. Towards her graduation, Yuling was awarded the Excellent Prize of President Scholarship, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After graduation, she completed a postdoctoral position in Purdue University, working in Bindely Bioscience Center, after which she was awarded a prestigious Alexander von Humboldt fellowship (AvH) and worked at University of Osnabrücker in Germany for 2 years. After several grants from the German Research Foundation (DFG), working in University of Duisburg-Essen, she commenced her ARC DECRA (Discovery Early Career Researcher Award) project and was appointed as an associated group leader at Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in the University of Queensland and was then granted another ARC Discovery Project in 2016. During last 5 years, Yuling has published over 30 papers in high impact journals including ACS Nano, Small, Anal Chem, Nanoscale, ChemCommun, Lab on Chip, Scientific Reports, etc. Her current group with 4 PhD students and one visiting fellow, focus on design, synthesis and characterization of multifunctional nanomaterial, aiming to develop a rapid, multiplexed point-of-care diagnostic platform for critical disease and further understand the fundamental biological system.
